Pulmonary vasculitis is characterized by inflammation and necrosis of the vasculature, commonly the capillaries.1 Diffuse alveolar hemorrhage (DAH) is the most common manifestation of pulmonary vasculitis.1 DAH is characterized by the widespread extravasation of red blood cells and collecting in the alveoli.1,2
