TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS

IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS:

Although there are no currently approved therapies, corticosteroids or steroid-sparing immunosuppressants are often used empirically to treat antisynthetase syndrome-ILD1  

LUNG TRANSPLANTATION:

Typically used as a life-saving approach in patients with severe and aggressive antisynthetase syndrome-ILD1  

SUPPORTIVE CARE:7

  • Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
  • Pulmonary rehabilitation
  • Oxygen
  • Vaccinations
