- A majority of patients recover or remain stable without treatment3
- Primary treatment is smoking cessation — with disease resolving in ~33% of patients1
- There are no currently approved therapies for LCH1,3
- Corticosteroids and cytotoxic drugs have been used empirically, although their efficacy is unproven
- Lung transplantation is curative when combined with smoking cessation1
